M5 Carriageway repairs update
We’re now in the final stages of our essential carriageway repairs on the M5 at junction 27, near Willand. In early March, we successfully removed the contraflow on the M5 around junction 27. The contraflow was in place while we worked on the southbound carriageway.

All the concrete repairs and resurfacing works are complete, and we currently have two lanes open in each direction.
We’re now removing the crossovers and reinstalling the drainage before fully re-opening in time for Easter.
