Lifeline/care alarms and key safes:
This concerns alarms that can be worn round the neck as a pendant or on the wrist which can be pressed to get help in an emergency.  Key safes are boxes which can be fitted outside a house, with a combination lock on them, to hold a spare key so those with the number can enter a house in an emergency.  These devices are available from many outlets but Mid Devon have asked us to mention theirs, and you can find more information about them here:
https://new.middevon.gov.uk/housing/council-housing/community-housing-support-officers/lifeline-alarms/
but bear in mind that they may be available more cheaply from other sources.
